Born and brought up in South Africa, in 1995 Georgia was awarded a Diploma in Dance from the University of Capetown. The diploma covered performance and teaching skills in both ballet and contemporary dance. After graduating, an internship with Jazzart followed coupled with many diverse performances with Capetown City Ballet.
Since arriving to New Zealand in 2001, Georgia has created herself honourable recognition employed as a Project Production Lead in the Design and IT world.
Georgia’s life passion? “Dance, dance and more dance!”
Jenny graduated from The New Zealand School of Dance in 1999, having specialised in contemporary Dance and learning from some of New Zealand’s finest choreographers.
Jenny went on to become Principal dancer with Cuban Fusion in Wellington where she taught and performed Cuban Salsa with Rafael Ferrer Noel from 2006 to 2011.
Working in the high pressured arena of Human Resources, Jenny has relished her return to the world of ballet and dance, having attended Raise classes for the past two years.
“Dance is something we can all greatly benefit from.... it challenges, grounds, energises and balances you. It’s a great creative outlet in which you can lose yourself in, while still learning and discovering a whole lot more about yourself as a person.”
